Spring is the epitome of rebirth, making it the perfect time to transition into embracing your highest potential.
The greatest feeling ever is standing on top of the world, basking in the sweet smell of earthy and floral notes, knowing that you have achieved everything within your power to be the best version of yourself. As the flowers bloom and the weather becomes warmer, let yourself dive into the excitement of never-ending possibilities– have fun, dream, and live every moment in the present.
The end of our beloved campaign, Flower Shower, is coming to a wrap-up this week, and to properly say goodbye to this chapter of ours, I’d like to share an insightful journey of self-love that I have gone through to share helpful insight for those who are also embarking on this wonderful path!
-
Acceptance
To enter the space of acceptance, the will to grow has to be bigger than your urge to stay in your comfort zone.
In order to do this, you have to practice forgiving and embracing the worst sides of yourself, whether it be your flaws, imperfections, or mistakes in the past. It’s easier said than done, but realizing that all your insecurities do not define you as a person will help you gain clarity on what truly matters to you.
-
Mentality
Being able to rewire your mentality into believing that you are worthy of everything you desire is something you must master before starting almost anything. Now that you’ve come to acceptance, be willing to work and put in the effort to break away from obstacles and circumstances that have hindered your process.
Once you can take small steps into unravelling, if something unexpected happens, you can withstand it due to the resilient core power that is your mentality–nothing is going to stop you.
-
Health
Your top priority should always be your health. It is often overlooked when we’re young; we believe that we’re not prone to sickness, which will lead us to overwork our bodies and minds. In reality, being young and taking care of our bodies is an ideal combination to augment our strength as we age.
Finding an active hobby (playing sports, hiking, cycling, etc.) and eating healthy foods (fruits, vegetables, whole grains, etc.) can be beneficial in maintaining a clean lifestyle. I recommend taking vitamins and daily supplements to help further support your body for some nutrients we might lack (don’t replace these with proper food though!).
If you’re feeling unwell or sick, please listen to your body and take some time off as a remedy. Whatever it is, it can wait for you to get better–and if it happens to be a strict deadline, meet the deadline and then take all the time you need afterwards.
-
Confidence
You have to own it. That’s it.
It doesn’t matter if you’re not capable, pretty, or deserving–you just have to believe you are. It doesn’t matter what other people think because if you truly think you are, nothing else should matter to you.
You are capable because you know you are capable. You are pretty because you know you are pretty. You are deserving because you know you are deserving.
Practice positive affirmations and submerge yourself in new experiences!
-
Focus
Set your mind to accomplishing your goals. Most of the time, this will mean going out of your way to do things outside of your regular schedule.
If you’re having a hard time achieving this, set daily goals first.
If your goal was to read a book and you find yourself pushing it off, promise to read a page or two every day. Once you’re able to adapt, build up each time until you’re able to finish a book.
Don’t let setbacks affect your progress, as setbacks are a part of the process. Embrace it and continue finding your way forward! Everything is temporary for now, but once you’ve focused and locked in, the thing you want will become permanent.
The perfect equation for solving your daily habits is:
Acceptance + Mentality + Health + Confidence + Focus = Glow Up!
P.S. You can do and be anything. I am optimistic that everyone who reads this will fulfill their dreams!
